Neue EU-Leitlinie Diagnostische Referenzwerte für die Pädiatrie

Die Leitlinien wurden im Rahmen des von der Europäischen Kommission finanzierten Projekts PiDRL (European Diagnostic Reference Levels for Pediatric Imaging) entwickelt, das vom ESR koordiniert und von wichtigen europäischen Interessengruppen und Fachgruppen unterstützt wurde, die sich mit dem Strahlenschutz von Kindern befassen, namentlich die European Society of Pediatric Radiology (ESPR), die European Federation of Radiographer Societies (EFRS), die European Federation of Organisations for Medical Physics (EFOMP), die Finnish Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK) mit dem Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST).

These Guidelines have been developed and endorsed by the key European professional societies in the subject area the:

European Federation of Organisations for Medical Physics (EFOMP),
European Federation of Radiographer Societies (EFRS),
European Society of Paediatric Radiology (ESPR)
European Society of Radiology (ESR).

 Their publication in the Commission's Radiation Protection series of publications has been recommended by the Group of Experts established under Article 31of the Euratom Treaty

The guidelines were prepared by the PiDRL project in which the EFRS was consortium partner.
