Morbus Crohn in der ­Magnetresonanztomografie

Zusammenfassung

CED stellen für die Betroffenen eine große Belastung dar. Aktuell wird die Prävalenz hierzulande auf circa 250.000 Erkrankte mit Morbus Crohn geschätzt. Vorgestellt werden im Beitrag die Grundlagen und Klinik sowie diagnostische Verfahren mit ­Schwerpunkt auf der MRT mit Protokollbeispiel und Beispiel­bildern. Abschließend werden Therapieoptionen angerissen.

Abstract

IBD poses a significant burden to those affected. Currently, the prevalence of Crohn’s disease in Germany is estimated at approximately 250,000 patients. This article presents the basic principles and clinical features, as well as diagnostic procedures, focusing on MRI, with sample protocols and sample images. Finally, treatment options are outlined.
